A fire incident outside a brothel in Heilbronn triggered a police and fire brigade response. Authorities have arrested a 26-year-old man suspected of deliberately starting the fire. No injuries were reported.
Fire Reported on Easter Sunday Night
At around 10:30 PM on Easter Sunday, several emergency calls were made reporting a fire at a brothel on Neckarsulmer Straße. Firefighters and police were quickly dispatched to the location, the venue known as “Je t’aime.”
Early information from authorities suggested that the fire had broken out inside the building and that three people may have suffered smoke inhalation. However, this was later corrected. Investigators confirmed that the fire occurred outside the brothel, not inside, and no one was injured.
Fire Started in Front of the Building
According to police findings, several materials placed in front of the brothel had been set on fire. These included fabric sheets and wooden debris located near the entrance area.
The flames were contained before they could spread to the building itself. The operator of the brothel reportedly managed to extinguish the fire independently before it escalated further.
Despite the limited scale of the incident, the fire caused some property damage. Two entrance doors were affected, with authorities estimating the total damage at approximately €300.
Suspect Arrested After Police Search
Police stated that the incident may have been preceded by a dispute, although no detailed information about the background has been released.

Following the incident, officers launched a search operation in the surrounding area. A 26-year-old man was identified as the main suspect and was taken into custody shortly afterward.
After initial questioning, the suspect was released. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether formal charges have been filed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
