A ski gondola from the Swiss ski resort Hoch-Ybrig might soon have an unexpected new home. The resort is looking to sell two of its 55-year-old gondolas, and one of them has caught the attention of a brothel owner near Frankfurt, Germany. With around 70 offers coming in, one gondola is set to remain in Switzerland, while the second one may go abroad. Gondola dealer Alexander von Khuon, who is handling the sale, has confirmed that a buyer is already lined up. The brothel owner is eager to acquire the gondola, though the cost of transportation could be a challenge.
Despite this unusual proposal, the management at Hoch-Ybrig is not pleased with the idea. They have made it clear that they do not support the gondola being repurposed in this way.
